Who is Imran khan
As of my last update in September 2021, Imran Khan is a Pakistani politician, former cricketer, and the 22nd Prime Minister of Pakistan. He was born on October 5, 1952, in Lahore, Pakistan. Before entering politics, Imran Khan gained worldwide fame as a talented cricketer and was the captain of the Pakistan national cricket team when they won the Cricket World Cup in 1992.
In 1996, Imran Khan founded the political party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), which translates to Pakistan Movement for Justice. He entered politics with the aim of fighting corruption, improving governance, and bringing social justice to Pakistan.
After several years of political campaigning and growing support, Imran Khan's party emerged as a significant force in Pakistani politics. In the 2018 general elections, PTI won the most seats in the National Assembly, and as a result, Imran Khan was elected as the Prime Minister of Pakistan on August 18, 2018.
As Prime Minister, Imran Khan faced various challenges, including economic issues, security concerns, and relations with other countries. His tenure has been marked by efforts to tackle corruption, promote education and healthcare, and attract foreign investments. However, his policies and governance have also been a subject of debate and criticism from different segments of society.
Keep in mind that political situations can change over time, and it's possible that there have been developments related to Imran Khan after my last update in September 2021. For the most current information, I recommend checking reliable news sources.
